please review our inventory guidelines, including accepted items, quality standards, and inventory limits.

Shopper Must-Haves!
Our buyers are on the hunt for top brands and big-ticket items! Sellers, these are the things that FLY off the shelves:

🍼 Strollers, highchairs, & baby gear (pack & plays, exersaucers, swings, carriers)

CLOTHING
We Love Quality – Here's What We Accept!
At Whale of a Sale – Columbus, we’re all about high-quality, brand-name finds at amazing prices!
To keep our sale top-notch, here’s what we can’t accept:
🚫 No out-of-date clothing (must be less than 5 years old). Shoppers love current styles!
🚫 No faded, stained, wrinkled, pet hair-covered, smelly, or damaged items—clean, fresh, and wrinkle-free only!
🚫 No single onesies—group them in sets or pair with an outfit.
🚫 No used socks, bras, or underwear.
🚫 Seasonal items only! (We do accept swimsuits, winter coats, Halloween costumes, and athleticwear year-round.)
Tagging & Hanging Guidelines
✔️ All clothes must be on a hanger with the hook facing left (like a “?”).
✔️ Use a safety pin or tagging gun to attach tags—never tag directly into fabric! (Tag through a seam, waistband, or pocket.)
✔️ Pants, skirts, and shorts should be pinned to the top of the hanger.
✔️ Bundling multiple items? Use a zip tie to secure hangers together.

Shoes!
Shoppers love great shoes—but only if they’re in EXCELLENT, like-new condition!
🚫 No missing laces
🚫 No scuffed toes
🚫 No funky smells
🚫 No worn-out soles
Give ‘em a quick wipe-down, check for wear, and make sure they’re fresh & ready to go! The better they look, the faster they sell!
ToYS!
Shoppers love clean, working toys—so make sure yours are tested and include batteries! We’ll check them, and if they don’t work, they’ll be returned at pickup (unless marked for donation).

🚫 We Can’t Accept:
❌ Broken, missing pieces, or worn-out toys
❌ Extremely faded items
❌ Fast food (Happy Meal) toys
❌ Recalled or unsafe items

Books, Puzzles & Games!
Shoppers love gently used books, puzzles, and games—just make sure they’re in great shape! ✅
📖 Books: No writing, torn pages, or damaged covers.
🧩 Puzzles & Games: Must have all pieces—double-check before drop-off!
🚨 We’ll inspect items, and anything missing pieces will be returned at pickup (unless marked for donation). Complete sets sell fast—so check before you tag!
Baby Gear!
Shoppers love clean, working baby gear—so make sure yours is in top shape! ✅
🚗 Hot Sellers: Strollers, pack & plays, exersaucers, swings, bouncy chairs & baby carriers!
🔋 Requires batteries? Make sure they’re included and working—we’ll test all items!
🚫 We Can’t Accept:
❌ Recalled, damaged, or unsafe items
❌ Crib bumpers & inclined sleepers

Furniture & Decor!
Spruce up another home by selling gently used, stylish furniture & decor!
🛏️ Accepted Items: Nursery & kids' room furniture (cribs, changing tables, rockers) + select home decor like picture frames, artwork, vases, lamps, pillows & holiday decor!
🚫 We Can’t Accept:
❌ Cribs made before January 2011 (due to recalls & safety laws)
❌ Home appliances, electronics, or housewares
Keep it clean, current & in great shape—our shoppers love stylish finds! 🐳💙
Bedding & Blankets!
✔️ Accepted: Crib & Pack-n-Play sheets, crib mattress pads, and baby blankets—must be clean, unstained & like new!
✔️ Crib comforter sets? Yes! But they must be current & in great shape.
🚫 We Can’t Accept:
❌ Non-crib/toddler bedding sets
❌ Handmade (crochet/knit) blankets

Sporting Goods!
Got gear your kids have outgrown? Sell it at Whale of a Sale! Shoppers love:

✨ Condition Matters: Items must be clean, unstained & in like-new shape—no excessive wear or damage.
